Wedding Reunion

This past weekend I traveled to Stillwater, OK for my friend Megans Wedding. I reunited with some of my very best friends, whom I haven't seen in years! We all met in Atlanta about 7 years ago through church.  There were a couple of friends that couldn't make it and you were missed too.  You know who you are and you know we talked about you! ;)  haha!!  We had a great time visiting with one another and helping Megan with last minute wedding preparations.
Theyare that group of friends that we all have...We can totally be ourselves; we fight, we laugh, we annoy the crap out of each other and then we are over it in about 60 seconds! I seriously wouldn't know what to do if we all got together and always got along?!?! But, that is why we love each other. We are all so strong willed , but somehow we work it out. We are already planning another reunion!! Miss you girls already!

These are some pictures we took with the bride and groom!

112 Drive In

Last Friday night we took the kids to see "UP" (Great movie by the way) at the 112 Drive In.  I think it may seriously be one of the few left in the country and that is too bad!!!  We LOVE it and so do the kids!  One key thing to remember, is to NEVER go see a movie that you really want to pay attention too!!!  I mean the drive in is just a fun family activity!  Well,  that and probably one big make out session for the High School kids; but, between the potty brakes and popcorn passing, oh! and my constant talking, I would never go see a movie like "Pride and Prejudice" or anything! ;)  Anyway, I am so glad we have it here.  It is going to become a family regular during the summer time.

The whole gang, the drive in is always better with friends!
Our Car load...The more you pack in the car,  the cheaper it is!!!
The fam plus one ( Calie, Nora's BFF)
The girls by the time we got home!!  Talk about a fun night! ;)

My Little Helper

So, tonight when we got home from our date night I was trying to change Audrey's diaper and then put the girls to bed.  Audrey HATES to get her diaper changes, so as usual, she got up and walked away without a diaper.  Tonight, in her act of defiance, she pee pee'd on the carpet!!!  As I tell (let's be honest, YELL) at Wade to get a rag and clean it up, Nora bolts to the Kitchen and grabs a rag out of the kitchen drawer.  She says to  me, "Mommy, Don't worry about it"!!  She then starts to rub, rub, rub and when finished says, "There, Perket"! That's how she say "perfect".  It was the cutest thing EVER!!  That is one thing about Nora, she may be a high attitude, super sensitive little girl, but she is ALWAYS SOOOO helpful.  She wants to Help me with EVERYTHING, which sometimes isn't so helpful, but that is what makes her so WONDERFUL!!!

BTW, this is my 100th post!!!  I was going to put something clever together for the occasion, but Nora's cutest beat me to it! ;)

And you thought Branson was Cheesy!!! ;)

I sure thought it was!!  Seriously, the first time I ever heard of Branson, MO was when my mother took a road trip with her sisters and they went through Branson.  Mom described it as a show town like "vaudeville" .  Whatever that means!? It sure didn't sound fun for a hip gal like me.  So when we moved to here everyone was talking about Branson.  I thought they were crazy, I mean this is a place my mother and her older sisters wanted to go party, why on earth would I want to go there???

Well we went there this past weekend.  We actually went to Silver Dollar City in Branson.  It's an amusement park.  I was expecting it to be miserable with a little fun..  I mean two little girls in a huge Amusement park??  Right.  But, to my pleasant surprise it was tons of fun!!!  It is perfectly shaded and had TONS of rides  for little kids.   There was about 10 rides Nora could ride and they even had a couple little rides I could bring Audrey on.  Luckily we met some friends up there so Wade and I were able to go on some rides too!

The funny thing about Silver Dollar City is that when you pull into the parking lot you see NOTHING!!!  I am used to Six Flags over GA and you see the roller coaster MILES away.  But, here in the Ozark Mountains, all I saw was trees.  I just knew this place was gonna be a joke.  I didn't even see the roller coasters until I got right up to the front of the line for them.  Wade and I thought it was Amazing when the Roller coaster brought us to the top and we just looked around at how these rides came out of nowhere in the forest!  Crazy!!
Well, we have season pass's  now so we will be there quite a bit this year.  Great family fun!!!

The girls and I Rollin' in!
Nora just about made it on some "bigger" rides
Nora and her daddy on the swinging ship...she screamed the whole time, but she LOVED it!
Down time
The girls LOVED this ball area.  Strike a pose Nora!
We had to PRY girlfriend away from the foam ball machine gun!!!
Whoo Hoo!!!  This is GREAT fun...
Oh!  Now I'm tired!
One of only TWO rides Wade and I got to ride TOGETHER, It's like Amusement parks are all about the kids or something!?!
Wade, Nora, and our friends on the water ride...they didn't get too wet!
Nora and her BESTEST friend!
If you are actually still looking at all these pictures, then I have a treat for you.  This is a video of Audrey playing in this HUGE fun foam ball house.  That's the only way I know how to explain it.  She truly had a BLAST!
