Nora and the Firestation

On Valentines Day Nora and I, along with our friends, took some cookies to one of the fire station's in Springdale. The guys there were very excited to get them!! They gave us a tour of the fire trucks and the station. Nora and her friend Calie had a blast! Nora wanted to climb in every type of truck that was there. I had to slow her down, but the firefighters were happy to show her around and let her press all kinds of buttons. Of course I took some pics, so here they are!

Well, I am sitting at home on a Saturday afternoon with not much going on. I am pretending Nora is taking a nap (I totally hear her playing in her room but to go in there would be sacrifing "me" time), Wade is a work, and nothing is on TV eventhough we have over 200 channels.

So I thought this would be fun. It came from my friend Laura's blog. She is always forwarding this stuff so I am gonna give this one a go!! Do the same if you like!!

Where did you go on your honeymoon? Hilton Head, SC!!!

How long did you date? Uhm, I'm gonna go with 6 month.

How old is he? 31

How old is she? 29

Who eats more? Depends on what it is!! Brownies, me...ice cream, him. We both enjoy the fine art of dining out. ;)

Who said "I love you" first? Seriously, I have no idea...sorry!

Who is taller? Wade, this was mandatory to date me!!

Who sings better? Me for sure, but he tries hard. ;)

Who is smarter? Wade for sure, but I got all the "street" smarts!

Who does the laundry? I do. He used to do it too , but he stopped (doing mine) b/c apparently I fussed at him for putting things in the dryer that shouldn't go in the dryer. To be fair I don't dry a lot fo stuff!

Who does the dishes? Whoever doesn't cook. It's the house rule!

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? me, but sometimes I have to switch.

Who pays the bills? Wade, I get depressed paying bills!

Who cooks dinner? Me most of the time. Wade does cook a crockpot every Sunday. It's been his "thing" as long as I have known him.

Who is more stubborn? Wade...If you believe this, than you must be NEW!!

Who kissed who first? I think I kissed Wade first. We either had to talk or kiss and Wade was too nervous to talk, so I had to do something! ;)

Who asked who out? Considering he asked me to go home with him to Colorado before we even met in person, I'd say he asked me out first. ;)

Who proposed? He did...after spending all day in these beautiful and romantic places in CO, he decides to ask me in front of his house in his sister's car. I just like to tell that story!!

Who has more friends? What's mine is yours and what's yours is mine, right?!

Who has more siblings? Well, Wade is the oldest of 10. What do you think?

Who wears the pants in the relationship? People think I do, but, Wade's got you all fooled. He totally wears the pants...when I let him. Makes you wonder, huh?

4th Anniversary Celebration

Our Anniversary Was actually on a Thursday night so we all went out for hot chocolate (a family favorite). When we got home we put Nora to bed and while I got comfy in pajamas and gathered together some lundry, Wade was putting together a surprise for me! He bought the best peanut butter cups and some Welch's sparkling grape juice. So we had a little time to ourselves that evening! He comes up with the best little ideas!
Friday night we went out on a date for our Anniversary. We brought Nora to the babysitter, or as like to call her, My friend Lisa!!! She took some pre diner pics of us. :)Nora wanted in on some of the picture action!
We went to Ruth Chris Steak House. It was the most delicious food I have ever had!! The steak's were fabulous! I ordered the sweet potatoe casserole and I am salivating just thining about it. Wade ordered some spinach as a side and even that was delicious!! How is that possible?!
Our wonderful waitress took a picture for us and then told us that dessert was on the house!! Yummy! It was a great two night celebration!!

Finally a Name

Audrey Evelyn Bolinger

Audrey is a name that we finally both agreed on and Evelyn is Wade's Grandmother's name, with whom he was close to before she passed away. We feel it flows rather nicely. We hope you all like it too. If not, just lie to us!! ;)

Her due date is April 16, 2008

This is what I want in a Presidential Candidate!

Well, It may be too late for Romney and The Republican nomination, but it is never to late to show a mans good deeds. This is the type of character that I want in the next President of the United States. Romney is a great candidate for president and I wish more Americans were able to see that. Sometimes it's not about what the politicians say it about what they do and how they live their lives!

I will morn for today but then move on! I still believe there is change to be made on some big issues in America. Hopefully, we can find a candidate that can deliver that change!!

Sick and Snow Days

All Day Wednesday it snowed and by the night our yard was completely covered. But, poor Nora couldn't go out and play because she was running a fever. We finally went to the Doctor yesterday and she has an ear infection. Her fever is a little lower but she is still tired and napping on and off all day. Which leads me to the question...How can your child look so sick and pitiful yet sooooo CUTE!!!

Anyway, I couldn't take pictures of her during this snow storm. However, I did take a picture of our last snow storm about a month ago! Not as much snow, but definitely cute pics of Nora. And that's all any of you really want to see. ;)
